The Paris Agreement is an international treaty in which 197countries have agreed to work together to address the climate crisis.The European Union has introduced the European Green Deal,which outlines ecological,social,and economic transformations to create a more sustainable Europe by 2050.As stated in this agreement,”digital technologies” play a critical role in achieving sustainability goals.The agreement encourages the promotion of digital transformation tools and sets innovative goals.

During the meeting to determine our project goals,it was emphasized that partners in environmental and climate change initiatives within schools recognize the need for students to have technical knowledge and technological solutions to address climate change.Based on this,the project goals and activities have been defined as developing innovative ideas to combat climate change.To specify the specific and concrete goals of our project,a survey was conducted within our eTwinning project to gather ideas from students about their awareness of and efforts to combat the climate crisis. It emerged that students are aware of climate change,are affected by it,follow climate change initiatives, and have new project ideas,especially regarding how artificial intelligence and technological advancements can help address climate change. Taking into account the priorities of the EU,the survey results,and considering the goals of The Paris Agreement and the EU Green Deal,the overarching goal of our project is to thoroughly examine the scope of climate change,offer sustainable solutions,investigate the extent to which technology can assist in combating climate change,and explore how technology can be utilized for solutions.

Concrete objectives for project activities and local applications in schools include:
-Examining sustainable recycling policies
-Identifying the causes of climate change,studying its consequences,planning solutions
-Studying the benefits and drawbacks of technology on climate change and encouraging students to propose innovative solution ideas
-Recognizing artificial intelligence studies for predicting future climate change effects
-Outreach and visibility efforts to reach a large audience and increase awareness

The results we aim to achieve are as follows:
-Expanding the target audience by incorporating project outputs into school activities
-Students concretely conceptualizing their dreams of technological development
-Establishing environmental and climate clubs in schools
-Presenting climate change solutions with technology and artificial intelligence, allowing students to explore and plan innovative approaches
-Conducting activities on climate change,the environment, water, soil, global awareness days in schools and organizing campaigns
-Encouraging students to submit their projects to various awareness competitions, national/international projects,and seek support and solutions from organizations such as NGOs,companies,universities, other relevant platfroms
